Reports to: Lead Massage Therapist

Qualifications:

• Completion and certification of recognized massage therapy program minimum of 1,000-hour program for a Spa Therapist

• RMT completion of the 2200 hour or 3,000-hour program and Registration as RMT in British Columbia

Aesthetician

Reports to: Lead Aesthetician

Qualifications:

Spa Attendant

Reports to: the Spa Director

Profile and skills required: A keen ability to deal with the public in a warm, welcoming, joyful manner under all circumstances. A professional attitude, with the aptitude to function effectively in a very busy team environment

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring a clean, warm welcoming atmosphere presenting a professional friendly manner at all times for our valued Guests.
  • Clean and maintain Hospitality Stations. Ensure herbal teas and water dispensers are full and the trays for glasses and cups are clean and well stocked. In the relaxation area, check books are orderly and pillows and chairs are tidied on a regular basis.
  • Clean and replenish lockers after each Guest visit.
  • When applicable, give Guests tours for inquiries and first-time Guests as per The Sante Spa Bear Mountain Guest orientation procedures.
  • Data entry and filing.
  • Fold and Replenish towels in all areas as necessary.
  • Replenish toiletries and products as needed (shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, body wash, paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, tampons etc.).
  • Assist service providers with the change-over of their treatment rooms, if necessary, during high occupancy periods.
  • Dust and clean the Spa.
  • Ensure laundry is sorted and start wash; then load into dryers and fold/put away when dry.
  • Uphold the highest level of cleanliness and disinfection procedures of The Sante Spa Bear Mountain, i.e. maintain change and shower areas, steam rooms, locker facilities and the pantry. Ensure laundry hampers are regularly emptied, spa slippers are sanitized and put away and towels are picked up and sorted for laundry.

Boutique Specialist - Full Time
Reports to: Spa Director

Qualifications:

  • at least 2 years’ customer service experience with an emphasis in reservations and retail sales
  • knowledge of spa treatments an asset
  • must be flexible and available weekends
  • must possess a calm, confident, organized manner; be reliable, personable/ friendly and impeccably presented at all times.

A professional who:

  • has exceptional interpersonal skills and telephone manner
  • has a passion for dealing with Guests and understands the importance of exemplary customer service
  • handles challenges with poise, grace, and sound judgment
  • will work well in a team committed to honesty, integrity, and professionalism

Ability to:

  • implement sales techniques in a professional manner
  • prioritize tasks and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
  • the ability to multitask as needed and perform a variety of duties, such as Spa Concierge duties during busy periods

The Boutique Specialist will be responsible for leading by example to ensure the growth and development of the Spa Boutique.
